Deltaville-bound

Thank goodness for Fridays, right? I don't know about you guys, but I'm pumped about this weekend. My friends and I are going to Deltaville, Virginia. Two of them are running a 5K Saturday morning, but after the race we'll be engaging in full-on summertime activities like kayaking, fishing, tanning poolside, swinging in hammocks and making crab cakes.

I'm packing light and making sure my outfits are appropriate for the heat and for the water. Lately, this tank and skirt combo has been my go-to outfit when I want to feel cute without the effort (everyone needs a couple of those oufits!) and I just scored the bikini on sale at Aerie. Cute sandals, floral-framed aviators and a fish-adorned necklace complete the look without being fussy.
