blood oranges

I know blood oranges are in season during the winter, but this year is the first time I've EVER seen them somewhere! And of all places, I found them at Target. I grabbed a few of those bad boys and started dreaming of the day I'd get to cut them open and revel in their colorful insides.

Gah! Yum! You must know that I love anything in a pie crust, so this little recipe just pulls at my heart strings.
