When I moved into my apartment, I envisioned my living room looking more like my inspiration board from
this post -- bright, with fun colors and patterns.
Instead, it ended up looking red, white and blue. It was the result of miscellaneous furniture and decor coming together (a red side table, a mostly red painting, and navy blue velvet pillows). I knew this was an easy fix with a little rearranging and some craft time. The first step? Getting rid of those unfitting blue pillows.
I had some yellow chevron fabric left over from a chair upholstery project and the pink twill fabric used to be curtains! They already brighten up my living room and have inspired a few more changes to come.
