Just kidding. This post isn't about Snow White.

This post is about my recent trip to Anthropologie, where I picked up these measuring spoons, this bowl in blue and this plate (on sale!) with a gift card.

I love buying plates, bowls and mugs individually. There are just too many beautiful patterns and colors to settle on a set, so nothing in my kitchen matches. But I love it.

What I love more? This ohmygoodness gorgeous dessert plate. See the lovely shade of antique green? The scalloped edges? The gold leaf? The bee?? I die. I think people must have thought I was crazy, I picked it up and just stared at it for minutes.

I would have gotten it, but it was $18. It's a splurge I'd love to have committed, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. It's going to have to be a late house warming gift to myself.
